Meet and Greet at NJP / IXB / Bus stand and proceed towards Rishop. In the second day of Lava Lolegaon Rishop Tour, early morning start to visit Tiffin Dara :

Tiffin Dara: 3 Km uphill soft trek to Tiffin Dara through dense forest is a memorable experience for every tourist in Rishyap / Rishop. Guests from Kids to Sr. Citizen must visit this Tiffin Dara for a complete 360-degree view of Mr. Kanchanjunga, Mt.Kharg, Kokthang, Rathung, Kabroo (North, South, Dome, and Fourth), Talung, Pandim, Simvo, Narsingh, Siniolchu. The path towards the Tiffin Dara through the deep silent forest of Pine, Birch, Fir and Orchids following the chirps of birds will lead you there and the guest will forget all the tiredness when you reach Tiffin Dara.





After breakfast proceed towards Kalimpong, a small tiny village. Kalimpong is a virgin hill station in West Bengal renowned for its panoramic Mt Kanchanjhangha and valley views, local sightseeing in Kalimpong area includes visits to famous monasteries, Delo Park offering sweeping views of Kanchenjunga snow peaks, rivers & landscapes, visits to museums, parks, flower nurseries, missionary schools etc.

Dr Graham’s Homes – This missionary school was set up by Dr. J A Graham in 1900 as an orphanage & school for the destitute Anglo Indian children. It is located on the way to Deolo Hills.






Deolo Hill – This is the major attraction in Kalimpong Tour. The tourism department has created an 8 Acre lush parkland with manicured flower gardens and several view points with breathtaking views of Kanchenjunga, Durpin hill, Kalimpong Township and the valley with rivers flowing through them.

Mangal Dham – A temple complex built in the memory of late Guruji Mangal Das ji and dedicated to Lord Krishna.

Durpin Monastery – This Tibetan monastery is located on the Durpin hill and hence such name. The actual name is Zang Dog Palri monastery. It was built in 1972 and has some rare Buddhist scripts that were brought here by Dalai Lama from Tibet. From the upper terrace of the monastery, you get magnificent views of Kalimpong town with Kanchenjunga in the background, the valley and the plains, Teesta & Reang rivers flowing down, and lovely tea estates of Peshoke area.

After Kalimpong Sightseeing Tour proceed towards Lolegaon – a small tiny village located in the Kalimpong Sub Division of Darjeeling district and one of the most beautiful place in the Darjeeling village tourism. One can cover this place on foot in barely couple of minutes. Tourist will be blessed by a giant statue of Lord Buddha in the Eco Tourism Park when you enter Lolegaon. Overnight stay at Lolegaon.

Proceed towards Charkol after breakfast. The Nature gifted all its wealth to Charkol, a small hamlet located on the edge of the Himalayan mountain at an altitude of 5000ft. Surrounded by the deep and moist forest of huge pine, Cypres, Oak, Shal and Rhododendrons Charkol offers a splendid view of :

Mt Kanchanjhanga, The sweet melody of rare brids including Blue Frontel Redstart, Indian Robin, Gree Beaked Tit, Pipit, Ashley Prinia will accompany you throughout the journey towards Charkol. Enroute covering Canopy walk in Lolegaon.




Canopy Walk : The most beautiful attraction of Lolegaon is the canopy walk in a dense forest with a walking trail and part of the trees have been joined together to form a 75 meter long canopy. It is a lovely walk through the forests – the chirping birds, buzzing insects and fleeting butterflies, the shades of dark and light as the sun barely made its way thru the dense forests and above all the smell of the jungle, all will add an aroma to your entire trip and the revelations are slow and full of surprises, the idea behind a walk maybe to simply explore a trail, or maybe to get a feel of the jungle. or to climb on top of the cllif you have been eyeing for long days. After Breakfast start for Kolakham Sightseeing Tour First visit Changi Falls.

Changi Falls – Changi, Changey or Chaney falls just 3 km jeep drive and 1.5 km walk down through nicely built staircases and rest hut takes you to the most beautiful falls in the deep forest of Darjeeling Hills. It is the only falls in the deep forest which can be reached by tourists by jeep ride and a walk down to around 250 stairs. In the deep forest of Neora Valley forest with sounds of rare tropical birds like Wagtail, Minivet and others make your journey a memorable one.






Neora Valley Forest – A jungle safari by Jeep and trek inside the forest is a wonderful experience. This trip is a must to all nature lovers and bird watchers. The trips through the deep jungle, full of tropical forest and most rare birds will make this trip memorable one. More adventurous people can go for a Rachel Trek towards the Aritar. Morning after breakfast, proceed Towards Tinchuley via sightseeing tor to Lava Monastery.

Lava Monastery : Lava Monastery also known as RatnashriBihar Buddhist Gumpa,is situated at Lava in Kalimpong.This Monastery was established by Karma Lodra Rimpoche. Situated beside the Large Neora Reservoir Lake,this religious residence is created using brick and concrete.Due to the increase in the number of devoteesand monks over the year, the facilities in Lava Monastery were expanded.

Tinchuley : A small mountain village (rather a hamlet) in Darjeeling district and located at an altitude of 5,800 ft, and just 3kms above Takdah. The word Tinchuley means Three Ovens (i.e. Tin Chullahs). Because of the three prominent hill tops surrounded the place and which from far look like ovens or chullahs. WWF trying to develop a model organic village in Tinchuley. Whole day is free for relaxation. Overnight stay at Tinchuley.

After breakfast start for sightseeing in and around Tinchuley, visit :

Orange Garden : Visit the lovely Orange Orchards of Tichuley.Orange Orchards also has their own factory producing fresh orange juice, jelly,marmalades and pickles which you can buy at reasonable prices.

Gumbadara : Gumbadara is one of the popular view point 1.5 km away from Tinchuley. Gumba means Monestry and Dara meansHilltop. One can experience panoramic view of Mt Knchanjhangha,Cghardham Samdupchey on North and kalimpong on East. It also has a good view of river Tista & Rangeet.

Tinchuley Monestry : Another attraction in Tinchuley is Tinchuley Monestry.

Back to hotel for lunch. Rest of the day is free for enjoying the natural beauty of the region from hotel room. Overnight stay at Tinchuley.

After breakfast visit Lava Monastery

After breakfast start for NJP/IXB/BUS Stand. Your North Bengal Tour end with sweet memories.

  • Our vehicle doesn’t go to bed and narrow road. Driver decision should be final.
  • Guests are requested to carry original copy of any Photo ID proof (Except Pan Card / Aadhar Card) i.e. Passport / Driving License / Voter ID along with 4 copy passport size photographs.
  • Children (above 5 years) / Students are requested to carry original copy of school / College Photo Identity card along with 4 copy passport size photographs. 
  • For Infants (below 5 years) carry 4 copy passport size photographs. Also carry the original birth certificate.
  • Additional sightseeing or extra usage of vehicle, other than mentioned in the itinerary, will need extra cost and directly payable on the spot.
  • The guest should always keep cool with the drivers as they are not tourism educated and come from different remote villages.
  • As there is shortage of space for car parking in the entire Sikkim / Darjeeling / Bhutan region – guest will have to wait at the Lobby in time for the vehicle to start their sightseeing / transfers. Once our vehicle will leave the hotel area without picking up the guests & come back at parking stand then guest must have to arrange their own to reach at the parking stand.
